Sarah and Jesse have a talk which becomes a fist fight, which is right by Ethan s house, but Ethan cannot see the fight because there are trees blocking, but he hears animal-like grunts. Soon Jesse throws Sarah into the air in which she lands into Ethan s bush. Sarah then rings the doorbell, and Ethan s mother opens it. Sarah tells Ethan s mom and dad that Erica was sick and that Erica asked Sarah to go babysit. Benny soon comes over, for he is a playa . Without knowing why, Ethan s sees a vision when touching Sarah. Sarah leaves, making Ethan suspicious after she wasn t in the mirror and the vision. Curious, the boys have Benny s grandmother watch over Jane while they follow Sarah. They see her feed on a rat, and realize she is a vampire. She sees them and quickly explains that she is only a fledgling , and does not wish to drink human blood. She was turned into a vampire by Jesse, and has little under a week to drink human blood before her mortal body dies.
